    Okay I guess what you are asking is what is a factor. Well, a factor are numbers that can be multiplied together to get a interger. For example, 36 is the interger, the factors of 36 are 1, 36, 2, 18, 3, 12, 4, 9, 6, 6. The factors of 12 is 1, 12, 2, 6, 3, 4. The factors of 24 are 1, 24, 2, 12, 3, 8, 4, 6. I think you get it now.
