A ball was thrown with an initial upward velocity of 80 ft./s from an initial height of 4 feet right in equation for H the height of the ball in feet T seconds after it was thrown

    That would be-

    f (t) = 80t+4

    How I worked that out-

    f (x) = mx+b

    b = the y intercept which is 4

    mx = your slope, which is 80t

    f (t) is your height
