So the perimeter is 2 multiples by the leanght + breadth right?

So that is 2 (3/5+1/2) we notice that the two fractions have different denominators right?

To Change to equel denominators we just cross multiply (multiply the top and bottom by the bottom of the other fraction)

That gives us 6/10 and 5/10 so add them and you get 11/10.

Now multiply by two and get 22/10.

Convert to mixed fraction to get 2.2/10

So the answer is 2.2 inches
