Put 6x-2y=-14 into slope intercept form (y=mx+b) then graph

    Subtract 6x from both sides

    -2y = - 6x - 14 Now divide by - 2

    -2y/-2 = - 6x/-2 - 14/-2 Notice how all the minus signs cancel out.

    y = 3x + 7
