    Apply distributive property.

    3x-2=2/3x

    Multiply all terms by 3 so we won't have to deal with fractions.

    9x-6=2x

    Subtract 9x from both sides

    -6=-7x

    Divide both sides by - 7

    x = 6/7

    Final answer: x=6/7
