The slope intercept form is y = mx + b where m is slope and b is the y-intercept. All we need to do is plug in 4 with m and - 3 with b.

    The result is: y = 4x - 3

Note: that it's ''-'' because the y-intercept is a negative instead of a positive. The operation in front of a value shows if the value is positive or negative.
