Pepper Jackie is making posters with a map of the area around the youth center. The map she has is too small for the poster, so she wants to make it 3 times bigger. If the current scale of the map is 1 inch to 12 yards, what will the scale of the new yard be?

    if Jackie want to make the scale 3 times bigger, it means that new area of the map is 3 times bigger: new_area=3*init_area.

    If the init_area is increased by 3 times, it means that the init_length (the scale) is increased by √3≈1.71 times.
