Which one is greater (-5) ^10 or 5^9

    It’s - 5^10 because, since the exponent is an even number, the number has to come out positive no matter the positive or negative value of its base. (This would change if the exponent was an odd number) And since 5^10 is of a greater value than 5^9, - 5^10 is the correct answer.
