A vacation cabin has a water storage tank. In the first month 30 days of the vacation season the mount of water in the tank change by an average of 36 gallons per day. At the end of the month the tank contain 1340 gallons of water. How much water was in the tank originally?

    36*30 = 1080 used gallons

    1080+1340 = 2420 original gallons
