how do you find out how to solve for y?

    Split a line down the middle of the equal symbol, and subtract the y value from itself, then repeat for 10.3. Then, you will find that your y value should be 0 (do not need put 0) on the right, and your answer should be on the left.

    I believe y is being multiplied by 0.6, so if you divide y by 0.6 it will equal 10.3

    therefore if you divide 10.3 by 0.6 you should get what y is equal 2

    in this case: 17.16666 (repeating)
