A technician can complete an installation in 1.5 hours. Her less experienced colleague takes 2.5 hours to complete an installation. If both individuals start working at the same time, and each works 60 hours over the course of ten days, how many total installations will they have completed?

    They have together done 64 installations.

    To figure this out you must divide 60 hours by how long one installation takes.

    In this case the technician did 40 installations, while the less experienced colleague did 24.

    Then, you add up the numbers done by both, giving you 64 installations.
