    The slope of that line is 3 (because the coefficient of x is 3).

    Any line parallel to that line has the same slope of 3, but a different y-intercept.

    The following lines are all parallel to the given line:

    y = 3x - 2

    y = 3x - 1

    y = 3x

    y = 3x + 1

    y = 3x + 2

    etc.

    Being parallel means by definition that the lines will never cross. That being said, the second line needs to be the same slope. The y-int won’t matter as long as it is not identical to the first equation.

    y=mx+b

    m is slope

    So one possible answer is ...

    y = 3x - 2

    y = 3x + 5

    y = 3x + 7

    All these lines are parallel with the same slope
