    First get the semiperimeter.

    Perimeter of the figure = 1/2 Circumference + the diameter.

    pi = 3.14

    d = 6 yds.

    Circumference of the circle of a full circle = pi * d

    Circumference full circle = 3.14 * 6

    Circumerence full circle = 18.84 yards.

    The semi circumference = 1/2 the Circumference.

    The semi circumference = 1/2 18.84

    The semi circumference = 9.42 yards.

    That's not the complete answer.

    You must add the diameter to this.

    Perimeter = Semi circumference + d

    Perimeter = 9.42 + 6

    Perimeter = 15.42 meters
