Jessie is a seamstress. She has 24 meters of cloth. She uses 2 meters of cloth to make one shirt. The equation of line representing the amount of cloth left after she makes x shirts is y=? x=? How many shirts can she make using the entire amount of cloth she has?

    she can make 12 shirts

    Substitute to check

    24-2 (12) = 0

    If y is 0, means all cloth were used
