    Speed = Distance/Time

    Cat's Speed 9ft/s

    Dog's Speed 6ft/s

    Let x be the distance travelled by the Cat,

    the distance travelled by te dog = 165 - x,

    and t, the time spend

    Cat's Speed 9ft/s = x/t

    Dog's Speed 6ft/s = (165 - x) / t

    Solving for t you will get t = 11 seconds
