What conclusion did you reach? were the components of the dyes similar or different? justify your answer using your empirical evidence?

    The components of the dyes were definitely different. Regardless of small similarity, they all proved to be independent from one another. While coloring remained the same, the amount in each component was different (and was evident when the water traveled up the paper strip and dissolved into its various pigments and coloring agents). Smaller molecules traveled farther than larger ones, however it is apparent by our varying Rf values that the difference even between similar colors highlights the change amongst the dyes.
