The Graf family made two pizzas. They ate 1 and 1/8 pizza before watching a movie, and 1/2 pizza more after the movie. What is a reasonable estimate for the amount of pizza left

    6/8ths are left you have to cross multiply to get the answer

    1 1/8 + 1/2

    1/2 is equal to 4/8

    1 1/8 + 4/8 = 1 5/8

    There are 8/8 per whole pizza.

    That would leave 3/8 of the pizza left
