What is the coefficent of the term of degree 1 in the polynomial 5x^2+7x^10-4x^4+9x-2

    That would be the 9 in front of 9x

    This would be a polynomial and the 10 degree

    so if it has 4 or more terms it is a polynomial and degree is highest power
