    The answer would be: 37m/s

Assuming that the unit t used is minutes after 1.:05,

    when the time is 1:07 P. M. the value of t would be: 1:07 - 1:05 = 2

    s (2) = 6 (2) ^2 + (2) + 8 = 34

    when the time is 1:09 P. M. the value of t would be: 1:09 - 1:05 = 4

    s (4) = 6 (4) ^2 + (4) + 8 = 108

Then, the function for average velocity would be:

    average velocity = total distance/time

    s (4) - s (2) / 4-2=

    (108 - 34) / 2=

    74/2 = 37m/s
