Mr. Chen drives directly north for 3.25 hours at a constant speed of 50 miles per hour. Later, Mr. Chen drives directly south on the same road for 185.5 miles. Where does Mr. Chen stop in relation to where he started? Show your work and explain your reasoning

    3.25 hours at 50 mph = 162.5 miles

    162.5 - 185.5 = - 23

    he is 23 miles south of where he started
