2x3y + 18xy - 10x2y - 90y

Part A: Rewrite the expression so that the GCF is factored completely.

    A. 2y is the GCF and you can tell that by it being the largest number that goes into all. Each term also has a y, but not all have an x.

    2y (x^3 - 5x^2 + 9x - 45)

    B. You can factor the remaining using the splitting method.

    2y (x - 5) (x^2 + 9)
