Kennedy had 2 pounds of chocolate chips. She made 4 batches of chocolate chip cookies. Each batch used 4/12 pound of chocolate chips. Then, she used the rest of the chocolate chips to make brownies. What was the total weight of chocolate chips used in the brownies?

    For the cookies, Kennedy used 1 and 1/3 of the chocolate chips. The other 2/3 were used to make brownies.

    4*4/12=1 and 4/12 or 1 and 1/3

    2 - 1 1/3 = 2/3

    2/3 pounds was used in the brownies.
