An angle measures 96° less than the measure of a supplementary angle. what is the measure of each angle?

    A supplementary angle is two angles that reach the sum of 180 (a complete angle) so angle is x

    supplement is 180-x

    x+96=180-x, since it is 96 less than its supplement 2x=84 x=42

    180-x=138

    The angle is 42 degrees.
