If the area of a triangle is 6.22sq. in. and its base is 3.11in, write an equation that relates the area to the height h and the base. solve the equation to determine the height? show work

    A = 1/2*b*h

    6.22 = 1/2*3.11*h

    6.22 = 3.11/2*h

    6.22*2 = 3.11*h

    12.44 = 3.11*h

    12.44/3.11 = h

    4 = h

    so height is 4 meters
