    The modulus of complex number can be computed with this equation:

    |z|=sqrt (Re (z) ^2+Im (z) ^2)

    z = - 2-6i

    Re (z) = - 2, so Re (z) ^2=4

    Im (z) = - 6, so Im (z) ^2=36

    |z|=sqrt (36+4) = sqrt (40) = 6.3
