    This is the concept of geometry, we are required to calculate for the length of the shortest side. The shortest side is the side opposite to the smallest angle; Therefore using sine rule we shall have:

    a/sin A=b/sinB=c/sinC

    let a=20 and A=100

    b=x and B=20

    thus the shortest side will be given by:

    20/sin 100=x/sin 20

    x = (20sin 20) / 100

    x=6.95 feet

    The answer is 6.95 feet
