    If ST=3x+3 and TU=2x+9

    it can be solved if ST = TU

    then solve first solve for the value of x

    ST = TU

    3x + 3 = 2x + 9

    3x - 2x = 9 - 3

    x = 6

    now putting the value of x, we can find the value of ST and TU

    ST = 3x + 3

    = 3 (6) + 3

    = 18 + 3

    ST = 21

    TU = 2x + 9

    = 2 (6) + 9

    = 12 + 9

    TU = 21

    the value of ST is 21 and TU is 21 as both are equal
