An ice cream cone has a radius of 3 inches and a height of five inches. find the volume.

    A cone is 1 3 the volume of a tube so we have : Volume of a cone = 1 3*πr2*h ... Equation (1). We are given that the diameter is 3 inches. As the radius is 12 the diameter, equation (1) becomes: Volume of a cone = 1 3*π (32) 2*h ... Equation (1 a). We are told that the height is 5 inches equation (1a)
