Factor completely: x^3+8x^2+7x

    There's an x in all terms so factor that out first.

    x (x^2 + 8x + 7)

    now it's x multiplied by a typical parabolic equation. factor this normally by seeing what multiplies to give 7 and adds to give 8.

    x (x + 7) (x + 1)
