You suppose to put the like terms together

    Let's do it

    2m+3m+2m=7m

    -5 - 4 = - 9

    It is now 7m - 9

Combine like terms: variables and constants:

    Variables: 2m+3m=5m

    Constants: - 5-4+2=-7

Now add these together: 5m-7 this is the result in simplest form
