    Since absolute value is the distance from that number to 0, taking the absolute value of a negative number would be essentially making it positive. Putting a negative in front of the absolute value would make the number negative, however.

    A. 5, 0, 3, - 4: sort of in order from greatest to least, but not really what we're looking for.

    B. - 7, - 3, 0, 4: this one's in ascending order, so I believe this is the correct option.

    C. - 6, 3, 1, 4: not really in any particular order whatsoever.

    D. 12, - 5, 2, 8: not in any order either.
