    3 consecutive even integers ... x, x + 2, x + 4

    x + 2 (x + 2) - (x + 4) = 20

    x + 2x + 4 - x - 4 = 20

    2x = 20

    x = 20/2

    x = 10 <==

    x + 2 = 10 + 2 = 12 <==

    x + 4 = 10 + 4 = 14 <==
