    Short Answer: 1

    Remark

    You could do this by comparing volumes through a proportion and that is likely the quickest way to get an answer. But it is also difficult to understand so I will do this by comparing volumes.

    Step one

    Find the volume of the small cone

    Givens

    r = 1 foot

    h = 2 feet

    pi = 3.14

    Formula

    V = 1/3 pi r^2 h

    Sub and solve

    V = 1/3 3.14 1^2 * 2

    V = 2.09333

    Step Two

    Find the volume of the Large Cone

    Givens

    r = d/2 = 2/2 = 1 foot

    h = 2 feet.

    We can stop right here. The cones are exactly the same volume.
