    Area of the square:

    A (square) = 10² = 100

    Area of the circle:

    A (circle) = 5² π = 25 · 3.14 = 78.5

    Area of the shaded region:

    A = 100 - 78.5 = 21.5

    Answer:

    A) 21.5 cm²
