    The equation for finding the area of a circle of A=pi (r^2). Just plug in r=4 to find the area:

    A=pi (4^2)

    A=16pi

    A=50.27 units squared

    50.27 is the answer because you multiply pie witch is 3.14 by the radius 4 and square it and that gives you 50.27
