John invited 10 people to his birthday party, but each of those guests told 4 friends, who in turn asked 2 other friends to come. What percent of the party guests were the original 10 friends John invited?

    12.5% If john's 10 friends all invited 4 people that is 40 people, If those 40 people invited 2 more that is 80 people, 10 is 12.5% of 80, So the answer is 12.5%

    =12.5%
