    The pythagorean theorem can be used only on right triangles ... so, when subbed into the pythagorean theorem a^2 + b^2 = c^2, if it makes this equation true, then it is a right triangle

    a^2 + b^2 = c^2 ... where a and b are the legs and c is the hypotenuse (the longest side) ... subbing in : a = 18, b = 24 and c = 30

    18^2 + 24^2 = 30^2

    324 + 576 = 900

    900 = 900 (correct)

    so ur answer is : 18,24, and 30 form a right triangle
