Jalen has 30 ounces of a solution that is made of up 30% acid and 70% water. How many ounces of water must Jalen add to this solution to create a solution that is 20% acid and 80% water?

    New volume of mixture

    = 30%/20%*30 oz

    = 45 oz

    Jalen must therefore add (45-30) = 15 oz of water.
