    X + 2y=5

    X=5-2y

    2x+4y=3

    2 (5-2y) + 4y=3

    10-4y+4y=3

    10=3

    5x+2y=3

    5 (5-2y) + 2y=3

    25-10y+2y=3

    -8y=-22

    Y=-22/-8

    Y=2.75

    6x+12y=30

    6 (5-2y) + 12y=30

    30-12y+12y=30

    30=30

    3x+4y=8

    3 (5-2y) + 4y=8

    15-6y+4y=8

    -2y=8-15

    -2y=-7

    Y = - 7/-2

    Y = 3.5
