In a shop 2 out of every 7 costumers uses cash and 3 out of every 11 uses credit cards. which is the greater proportion of customers

    You would have to convert them to like denominators.

    2/7 becoming 22/77 and 3/11 becoming 21/77

    Since 22/77 is greater Cash customers are the greater proportion.
