How do I solve 2x+y=17 in slope intercept form?

    Slope intercept form is y=mx+b

    Just move the parts of the equation around until it's in that format.

    y=-2x+17

    Remember when you move the 2x to the other side of the equation you must change the sign, so it becomes - 2x.
