    The mean and standard deviation of the sample will be given by:

    standard deviation=σ/√n

    σ=24

    n=64

    thus

    standard deviation of the sample will be:

    24/√64

    =24/8

    =3

    mean

    the mean will be:

    μ+/-3

    μ=85

    thus the mean will be:

    85+/-3

    =82 or 88
