    1/5 = 2/10

    1/2 = 5/10

2/10 of his money on a story book.

    Storybook is the variable x

$26.80 to his brother (5/10 of his money left)

    5/10-2/10 = 3/10

    $26.80x3/10 = 8.04

    He had $8.04 left.

Not really sure of this one but i think it's like this-

2/10 (money for story) + 3/10 (26.80 dollars to brother) = 1/2 of his money

    3/10x=26.80 268=3x; x = 89.33333 ...

    89.33 X 5/10 = answer

    money left = (roughly) 44.67
