If the probability of success during the fourth event of a geometric experiment is 0.0384 which of these could be the probability of success during the 5th event of the geometric experiment? A. 0.01536 B. 0.096 C. 0.6 D. 0.24

    I think it’s A. If the first event is 3/5 and the second event is 3/5*2/5, the third will be 3/5 (2/5) ²=0.096, and the fourth will be 3/5 (2/5) ³=0.0384 so the 5th will be 3/5 (2/5) ⁴=0.01536.
