    He Drove 30Mph For The Rest Of The Ride

    170 - (55*2) = 60

    60/2=30Mph

    Whole distance = 170 miles

    distance before the bad road construction

    time = 2hrs speed = 55 mile per hour distance = speed * time = 55 * 2 = 110 miles

    Remaining distance = 170 - 110 = 60 miles

    Time = 2 hours

    Speed = distance / time = 60 / 2 = 30

    Therefore his distance is 30 miles per hour
