What if a problem involves more than one unit for a characteristic (such as length) how can u tell which unit is more appropriate to report the answer in?

    It honestly depends on the subject/level, and there is no way to predict different marking schemes, but I would tend to stick to the SI units as used in Physics. So, metres, seconds, kgs etc (you can find them all online).
