Mick paid 2.94 in sales tax on an item that costed 42.00 before tax at the rate how much would he pay in sales tax for an item that costes 58.00 before tax

    Item 1 VAT Rates:

    42 x VAT% = 2.94

    VAT% = 0.07

    In Percentage = 0.07 x 100 = 7%

    Item 2:

    58 x 0.07 = 4.06

    Answer is 4.06
