Using V = lwh, find an expression in factored form for the volume of this prism. Explain the general steps you used to arrive at this answer.

    I did this before the correct answer is.

    Using the given equation of,

    V = lwh

    The volume of the given prism in the figure is,

    V = (x² - x / 4x + 1) (2x - 5) (24x² + 6x / x - 1)

    By factoring,

    V = ((x) (x - 1) / (4x + 1)) (2x - 5) ((6x) (4x + 1) / (x - 1))

    Eliminating terms appearing in both the denominator and numerator,

    V = (x) (2x - 5) (6x)
