Sally and Tyrone were arguing about the size of 2 numbers. Sally thought six-tenths was one-tenth as large as six-hundredths. Tyrone thought six hundredths was one-tenth as large as six tenths. Who is correct?

    Let's write them out as numbers.

    6/10

    6/100

    The larger the denominator (the number after the / ), the smaller the number (given that the numerator, in this case 6, is the same). Therefore, as multiplying a number by 1/10 makes a number smaller, Tyrone is right
