    F (x) = - 3x + 6

    g (x) = 2x-9

    find X when f (x) = g (x)

    -3x+6 = 2x-9

    subtract 2x from each side:

    -5x + 6 = - 9

    subtract 6 from each side:

    -5x = - 15

    divide both sides by - 5

    x = - 15 / - 5

    x = 3
